Athulya Ravi says sorry to her fans

Athulya Ravi of Kaadhal Kan Kattudhe fame would be essaying a bold lead role in VZ Dhorai’s A-maali. Some sequences which were revealed recently through the film’s teaser didn’t go well with her fans.

The film, starring debutant Sam Jones, Athulya, and Samuthirakani in lead roles, had its official teaser released a few days back and showcased Athulya in a bold avatar, wearing revealing costumes and smoking. Looks like this has disappointed a section of Athulya's fans.

She took to her social media forum to apologize for disappointing the fans. She also added that those scenes wouldn't feature in the movie. She posted, "Ppls who gave positive vibes. Definitely it means a lot and thank you for understanding. Don't judge movie or that characterization by seeing the teaser. Definitely in the movie, it’ll be a positive character with a message. I m sorry for disappointing ppls with that unexpected shots. It won't come in the movie. Thank you. I did justice for my movie role alone"
