Baahubali 2 will break all records, expected to cross Rs. 1000 cr

The buzz around the soon-to-be release ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ is untameable, after all the nation is waiting with bated breath to find out — why Katappa killed Baahubali?

While the first part, ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ was a huge hit at the box-office, the second installment of this SS Rajamouli’s magnum opus is expected to set the box-office on fire by breaking all records.

According to trade reports, the film, which has already made over Rs 500 crore with its pre-release deals, is undoubtedly going to become the biggest Indian film ever produced.

Trade pundits are predicting that ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ will to do a business of about Rs 85-90 crore on the opening day itself. Reports suggest that the film will be released in over 6000 screens across India and will approximately get over 1000 screens in USA and 1400 screens in the rest of the world. Now that’s huge, no other Indian film has been released on such a grand scale before.

‘Baahubali: The Beginning’, was released in around 4000 screens and went on to make about Rs 650 crore by the end of its run. Looking at the huge excitement of the people for its sequel, trade reports suggest that the ‘Baahubali 2’ will end up making approximately Rs 750 crore. And if we combine this figure with the supposed Rs 500 pre-release profits from the sale of theatrical rights, the film will easily do a business of over Rs 1000 crore at the BO. Awesome ain’t it?

Helmed by S S Rajamouli, ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Tamannah Bhatia in lead roles. It is all set to hit the screen on 28th April, 2017!
