‘Bakrid' gets new release date

Vikranth starrer ‘Bakrid’, which has been certified with a ‘U’ certificate by the Censor Board, has got a new release date now. Earlier, Vikranth had tweeted that the film would hit the screens on August 9. But the latest announcement shows that the film is all set to hit the screens on August 23.

It’s written and directed by Jagadeesan Subbu. The star cast includes Vasundhara Kashyap and Vaipuri among others. The film’s story revolves around a camel and the bond between Vikranth and the animal. The camel named Sarah was brought from Rajasthan for the movie.

D Imman composes music while cinematography is by Vishnu GK. Editing is handled by Ruben.
