Basil Joseph, Guru Somasundharam in ‘Kappu'

Director-turned-actor Basil Joseph and actor Guru Somadundaram of ‘Minnal Murali’ fame will be seen as actors in the upcoming sports drama ‘Kappu’. Tovino Tomas-starrer ‘Minnal Murali’ was helmed by Basil Joseph. Guru’s villain character in the movie had become popular among the audience.

Written and directed by Sanju V Samuel, ‘Kappu’ marks the debut of Riya Shibu as an actor. Riya is the daughter of producer, distributor and theatre owner Shibu Thameens.

It also features Mathew Thomas, Namitha Pramod and Anand Roshan et.al. Produced by Allwin Antony under the banner of Ananya Films, the film has music by Shaan Rahman and lyrics by Manu Manjith.

The movie’s screenplay is penned by Akhilesh Latharaj and Denson Durom. Nikhil S Praveen cranks the camera of the film, which will go on the floors in Adimali on February 7. Click the Movie button below for more info:
