Benyamin, Indugopan co-write screenplay

Noted writers of Malayalam literature, Benyamin and GR Indugopan, are collaborating to write the screenplay of the film, featuring Mathew Thomas of ‘Thanneermathan Dinangal’ fame, in the lead. Though Indugopan has scripted films before, it’s the maiden scriptwriting venture by Benyamin.

The puja of the untitled film, directed by debutant Alwin Henry, was held at Poovar in the presence of Local Self Government and Excise Minister Shri MB Rajesh. Malavika Mohan is playing the female lead in the movie, produced by Sajai Sebastian and Kannan Satheesan under the banner of Rocky Mountain Cinemas.

It also features Joy Mathew, Rajesh Madhavan, Vineeth Viswam, Sminu Sijo, Muthumani, Veena Nair, Jaya S Kurup and Manju Pathrose et.al. Anand C Chandran cranks the camera while Manu Antony has been roped in for editing. Govind Vasantha will be the music composer to the lines written by Anwar Ali and Vinayak Sasikumar.

The film will be shot mainly in the locations of Poovar, Neyyattinkara and Nagercoil, besides in Thiruvananthapuram. Currently, the shooting is going on at Vlathankara village near Neyyattinkara.
