Bharathan to direct Vijay 60

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is currently busy with his 59th film being directed by Atlee but the project is yet to be titled. In the mean time, the Puli hero has finalized his director for his 60th film.

It is none other than Bharathan who called the shots in Azhagiya Thamizh Magan which was the first film where Vijay played double roles. Bharathan is a long time associate of Vijay who had worked as a dialogue writer for the blockbuster Ghilli too.

It is said that Vijay after hearing and discussing scripts with many directors, has finally zeroed in on Bharathan. Some technical heads are also finalized for this project. They are Madhie for camera work and Praveen for editing. The film will be bankrolled by Nagi Reddy’s Vijaya Productions who had also produced Ajith’s Veeram. The film will officially kickstart from this Sunday, the 22nd November and from then on the pre-production work will begin. Once Vijay completes Atlee’s film, he will move over to the sets of Bharathan. Click the Movie button below for more info:
