Bharathi Raja begins a film school

Director Bharathi Raja will be starting a film school that is said to train their incumbents all fields of film making. He conceptualized BRIIC which stands for Bharathi Raja International Institute of Cinema



The fields that will be taught to students are direction, acting, cinematography, editing & composing, editing & VFX, sound design, production design/art direction & set designing. They will also be introducing courses in stunt direction” & choreography in future.



The students will be trained by the pioneers and masters of cine industry who have years of experience. The Vice President of Bharathidasan University Mr. Muthukumar, Director Mahendran, Director Mani Ratnam, Director Priyadarshan, Director Rajiv Menon, Kavignar Vairamuthu, Director Gangai Amaran, Actress Radhika Sarathkumar and Director & Actress Suhasini Mani Ratnam are the honorary consultants of BRIIC. The courses at BRIIC are designed to grow the skills, introduce new techniques and prepare the students to hit the ground running when they begin their career in the industry.
