Big B starts shooting for 'Jhund' in Nagpur

Actor Amitabh Bachchan has arrived in Nagpur for the shoot of his next film ‘Jhund', directed by ‘Sairat’ fame Nagraj Manjule.


“T 3014 - NAGPUR .. for 'Jhund' .. the new project by Nagraj, his first in Hindi, the maker of 'Sairat' the Marathi block buster .. a centre of attraction .. and NAGPUR, geographically apparently the centre of geographic India .. may the 2 centres thrive !,” Big B tweeted. The actor also shared a photograph of himself standing inside the flight to Nagpur.


The story of the film is based on the life story of 72-year-old Vijay Barse, who formed ‘Slum Soccer’, a soccer team of the underprivileged children from the slums. Bachchan is playing Barse in Jhund.


Shooting is currently underway at Dhobi Nagar in Mohminpura. Big B will shoot for 45 straight days in Nagpur.
