Big Surprise: NTR's Role in Mahanati?

If the buzz in the Filmnagar is to be believed, Natural Star Nani may be seen as Legend NTR in Mahanati, the Biopic of Late Actress Savitri. The team had initially approached Junior NTR for this role but the actor declined to essay the role of his grandfather. Now they have approached Nani.

Nag Ashwin, the director of Mahanati is a close friend of Nani and Nag Ashwin's debut film 'Yevade Subramanyam' also starred Nani. The Natural Star is yet to give his nod. On the other hand, Naga Chaitanya will be essaying the role of ANR. Mahanati is progressing at a brisk pace and the movie is being planned for March 29th release.
