Blessy to remake 'Thanmatra' in Hindi

The super hit film ‘Thanmatra’, written and directed by Blessy, which narrates the effect of the disease of Alzheimer’s on an individual and his family, based on Padmarajan’s short story ‘Orma’, is all set to be remade in Hindi.

The remaking is also done by Blessy. The pre-production works are in progress and the cast and crew details are not divulged.

‘Thanmatra’ received five Kerala State Film Awards for the Best Film, Best Actor, Best Director, Best Screenplay and a Special Mention for the debutant actor Arjun Lal.

Blessy will start his big budget film based on Benyamin’s “Aadujeevitham”, starring Prithviraj in the lead role, only after the completion of the Hindi remake of ‘Thanmatra’.
