Bobby Simha in Saamy 2

Saamy was a power packed commercial entertainer that was released in the year 2003 which had Chiyaan Vikram in a cop role with a lot of arrogance and ruthlessness. Directed by Hari, the film went on to reap commercial benefits and became a milestone film in the career of its leads Vikram and Trisha.

After almost 15 years, the film will have its sequel Saamy 2 which will again be directed by Hari. The film will have Vikram and Trisha but a surprise addition is in the form of Keerthy Suresh who is said to have a bigger role than Trisha.

Now, there is one more addition to the cast list. Bobby Simha has been roped in as the antagonist. Hari elaborates, “It is a special quality that Vikram is a powerful performer and also a hero. So, we need to have someone as powerful as him as an antagonist to give an equal match to the actor.
