Bollywood comes in support of Shweta Basu

Actress Shweta Basu Prasad who was recently arrested in a prostitution racket finds some support from few of her Bollywood colleagues. Director Hansal Mehta came forward and offered her a role in his upcoming movie. Several actors like Aditi Rao Hydari and Upen Patel have condemned spreading her pictures and keeping the names and details of her high profile clients under wraps.

Shweta Basu bagged the national award for best child artist for "Makdee" in 2002. Later she went on to act in Bollywood's "Iqbal" and TV show "Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki"
