Jaipur, June 8 (IANS) The shooting of a commercial featuring Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was halted in this Rajasthan capital Saturday when a chopper which was to be used was seized by the police, officials said.

A police officer said that they had denied permission of the chopper's use during the shoot, which was to take place at a five-star hotel in the city.

"Ajay Sharma, who provides logistics for movie and commercial advertisements' shooting, had sought permission for the chopper's use. However, the helipad which was to be used for the chopper's landing had been declared unfit. Police denied the permission," said Assistant Commissioner of Police Amber Surendra Sagar.

The officer said that despite the denial of permission, the chopper landed at the hotel around 10 a.m. Saturday.

"We arrested Ajay Sharma for disobeying the order and putting people's lives at risk. Further investigation is on," said the officer.

Sources said that the shooting was halted throughout the day even as actor Saif Ali Khan waited for it to resume at the hotel.
