Mumbai, May 7 (IANS) Debutant director Sonam Nair, whose first film is "Gippi", says she will always make films that are close to life and its realities.

Slated for release Friday, her "Gippi" is the story of a teenage girl and how she handles crucial changes in her life.

"My style of filmmaking is that I want to stick to reality zone. On watching my film, people should not feel that they are watching someone is acting. Rather they should feel that they are watching people living their lives," she said here in an interview.

"Making dramatic, typical Bollywood films will be difficult for me," said the director who had assisted Ayan Mukerji in "Wake Up Sid!", which was also realistic in its approach.

Both "Wake Up Sid!" and "Gippi" are Karan Johar's Dharma Productions' projects.

Talking about her next project, Nair said: "I will stick to what I know best, and that is simple, young, and fun films. I have a few ideas, but Karan has to decide which one to make."

"Gippi" features debutant Riya Vij in the title role along with Divya Dutta and Taaha Shah, who made his debut with "Luv Ka The End".
