Sonakshi shoots for 'Thupakki' remake, excited

Mumbai, Dec 20 (IANS) Sonakshi Sinha has confirmed that she is playing female lead in the Hindi remake of Tamil hit "Thuppakki". She started shooting for the project Thursday.

"Because I only talk about a film AFTER I've signed it, it's my pleasure to share with you all that we started shooting the 'Thuppakki' remake today. Looking forward to working with this team," Sonakshi tweeted Thursday.

In "Thuppakki", Sonakshi will once again feature with Akshay Kumar, with whom she has done films like "Rowdy Rathore" and "Joker".
