Mumbai, Jan 29 (IANS) Actor Manoj Bajpayee reveals he became such a big fan of director Neeraj Pandey after watching his film "A Wednesday" that he kept pestering him to take him in one of his films.

"I was after Neeraj after seeing 'A Wednesday' that 'I want to work with you'. This is when 'A Wednesday' had come. That means I have been struggling to work with him since three to four years. This is true," the 43-year-old said here in an interview.

"Neeraj always used to pick my calls and kept meeting me. We both always kept telling each other that we will work together (some day)," added Bajpayee, who has finally worked with the director in "Special Chabbis."

Manoj is very happy with his role of a CBI officer in the film.

"He gave me such a big role. This is a thriller, so I can't say everything right now. But I guarantee that you will not know the suspense till the last frame," Manoj said.

"Special Chabbis" also stars Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill and Kajal Aggarwal. It is slated to release Feb 8.
