Mumbai, March 6 (IANS) Divyendu Sharma, who will be seen in the remake of light-hearted drama "Chashme Baddoor", says working with David Dhawan is a big high for him and his co-stars.

Dhawan's version of Sai Paranjpye's 1981 romantic-comedy also stars Siddharth, Ali Zafar and newcomer Taapsee.

"Like you have in your life a bucket list that you have to do this and this, it is one of those ticks now. Doing a David Dhawan film is like a big high in our lives," the 29-year-old told reporters said here Tuesday. He was promoting the film at a college with Dhawan and co-stars Taapsee and Siddharth.

Divyendu also recalls how a David Dhawan, known for giving hits like "Hero. No 1", "Jodi No. 1" and "Partner", film meant family time as a kid.

"The whole family used to sit together and watch his films on TV. And then, one day you become an actor and you are doing a film with Mr. David Dhawan, the man himself. It takes time to sink in, it was a fun ride," said the 29-year-old.

Meanwhile, Southern actress Taapsee, who makes her Bollywood debut with "Chashme Baddoor", recalls how as a kid she used to dance only on his songs.

"Since I was a kid, I have danced most on his songs (David Dhawan), 'Biwi No. 1', 'Sona Kitna sona hai' was our favourite songs," the actress said here.

"I am the luckiest to be debuting with his film. I have not danced on other songs as much as I have on his," she added.

"Chashme Baddoor" is set to release April 5.
