Captain Vijaykanth returns to films

Captain Vijaykanth, after his entry into politics has not been doing films and we only got to see his son Shanmuga Pandian debut as hero in Sagaptham. But Captain has surprised his fans with an announcement of his entry into films.

His last film was Virudhagiri in 2010 after which he was totally involved in activities as the leader of DMDK.

His comeback film is aptly titled Thamizhan Endru Sol which will be directed by Arun Ponnambalam and the music for the film will be scored by the Thani Oruvan fame music director Hip Hop Adhi. Vijaykanth’s son Shanmuga Pandian will play the second lead in the film which began with the customary Pooja yesterday, the 22nd November.
