Catherine in Karthi's next!

Young actress Catherine Teresa has been chosen as the lead actress in Karthi’s next film which will be directed by Ranjith of ‘Attakathi’ fame. Catherine made her debut with Kannada films but became popular with Allu Arjun’s “Iddarammayila Tho’.

As already reported Karthi and Ranjith have teamed up to make a ‘Paruthiveeran’ kind of strong story based movie. Sources say that it is being inspired by Rajanikanth’s Kaali. But the makers have not yet confirmed whether it’s loosely based on it or a complete remake of the yesteryear movie. The official announcement would be made in the first week of the October, when all the rest of the cast and crew will be announced too.

As of now, the makers have confirmed that Catherine would be playing the female lead in the film.

Meanwhile Karthi is awaiting the release of his latest entertainer All in All Azhagu Raja and his Biryani too is almost ready for release. Catherine Teresa too is waiting for the release of Krishna Vamsi’s Telugu film with Nani, ‘Paisa’.
