'Chandu Champion' shoot concludes

The filming for Kartik Aaryan-starrer 'Chandu Champion' has been completed. Helmed by Kabir Khan, the film was shot across the exciting locations in the UK and the Wai village in Maharashtra. The film has explored beautiful locations of the UK like the London Aquatics Centre and the Royal Botanic Garden.


Besides, the movie has captured the scenic beauty of Kashmir and the landscape around Wai village in Maharashtra near Koyna wildlife sanctuary.


Kartik essays the role of Murlikant Petkar, India's first Paralympic gold medallist in the flick. Murlikant won an individual gold medal in the 1972 Summer Paralympics, in Heidelberg, Germany. He set a world record in the 50 m freestyle swimming event, at 37.33 seconds.


He was a jawan of the craftsman rank in the Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME) in the Indian Army. He sustained severe bullet wounds during the 1965 war against Pakistan.


The film is jointly produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, and is set to release on June 14. Click the Movie button below for more info:
