Chemban Vinod with versatile roles

Chemban Vinod Jose has proved himself to be a natural actor through his witty role in the recent ‘Sapthama Shree Thaskaraha’. He has earlier acted in ‘Amen’and ‘North 24 Katham’ and proved that he could do with versatility and rustic charm the roles he undertakes.


In ‘Sapthama Shree Thaskaraha’, a movie by Anil Radhakrishna Menon, Vinod does Martin, one of the lead roles – a convict who gangs up with six other ex-convicts for a heist. He is the narrator, through whom the story unfolds.


Up next are Amal Neerad film ‘Iyobinte Pusthakam’ and Dilish Nair’s ‘Tamaar Padaar’. ‘Iyobinte Pusthakam’ is a period film with Fahad Fazil in the lead role. Chemban Vinod does a totally different character in this movie.


The movie is directed, cinematographed, and co-produced by Amal Neerad. Fahad Fazil is the other producer of the film.


Vinod is very much excited about his role in ‘Tamaar Padaar’ and he says: “I have never essayed a role like this and it is one of those once in a life time roles”.


Chemban Vinod plays a street acrobat Crossbelt Mani in ‘Tamaar Padaar’. The movie casts Prithviraj as A C P Pauran and Baburaj as Jhumber Thambi, another street performer, in the lead roles along with Vinod.
