Cheran's next titled as Rajavukku Check

Actor-director Cheran, who has been missing in action for quite some time is apparently busy with the making of his upcoming film as a hero in project titled as Rajavukku Check, directed by Raj Kumar of Mazhai fame.

He elaborates, "I had announced last year that I have two projects in hand for direction. One of them will go on floors this April. I will be playing a major role, along with a hero and heroine, both of whom I have not finalized. The search is on. The supporting cast members are Thambi Ramiah, MS Bhaskar, Jayaprakash, Sukanya and others.

Rajavukku Check is touted to be an emotional thriller where Cheran will be playing the role of a detective. There have been reports that the movie will explore a father-daughter angle as well. However, until official announcements are made, nothing can be confirmed.
