Chimbudevan to direct Vijay

Director Chimbudevan, known for directing films like Imsai Arasan 23 aam Pulikesi, Arai En 305il Kadavul and Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam, will now direct Ilayathalapathy Vijay. This project will kick-start after Vijay completes his AR Murugadoss project. It is said that the actor has listened to Chimbudevan’s one-liner and was very impressed. Chimbudevan is known for directing films that has a combination of fantasy and action.

The director has now completed his current project Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum (OKMK). The film has Arulnithi, Bindu Madhavi, Ashrita Shetty and Bagavathi Perumal in the lead. It is a romantic entertainer.

Sankaran Natarajan is debuting as music director with the film. Kathir is the cameraman. JSK Film Corporation will distribute the film.
