CIFF from Dec 12

The Chennai International Film Festival (CIFF) will be inaugurated on December 12. Aamir Khan and Kamal Haasan will inaugurate the festival and Mohanlal will be there in the closing ceremony on December 19.

Suhasini Maniratnam is heading the organising team. A total of 163 films from 58 countries including 12 Tamil films will be screened as part of the competition section of the event.

The festival screenings are going to be conducted in eight screens in five venues such as Woodlands, Casino, Inox and Abirami.
