Young actor Varun Dhawan thinks there's no such categorization or classification like commercial films or art films, and that a film is always a film.

He was talking to reporters before the screening of "Boyhood", a movie that the actor is presenting at the 16th MAMI film festival in Mumbai.

"I don't see any difference between commercial or art cinema - a film is a film", he said.

Asked about the movie "Boyhood", Varun said it inspired him to watch world cinema.

"It took 12 years for the director to make this film. I have seen the film and I loved it... This film inspired me to watch world cinema. All kinds of films help an actor to grow."

He was accompanied at the film fest by his "Badlapur" director Sriram Raghavan.

Talking about the length of the film, he said, "When I was watching the film, I didn't know when it came to an end. You don't feel its lengthy. Sriram always says a film is as lengthy as it seems."

The ongoing MAMI film festival which started on Tuesday will continue till Oct 21.
