Confirmed! Hrithik Roshan to play Anand Kumar in Super 30

For the past few weeks, there have been speculations galore around the casting for the biopic on math genius – Anand Kumar, ‘Super 30’. However, now the makers have confirmed that Hrithik Roshan shall portray the role of the mathematician in this biopic, which shall be helmed by Vikar Bahl.

Earlier, reports claimed that producers - Madhu Mantena and Priti Sinha - were at not on the same page owing to their choice of actors to play the leading man. It was learnt that allegedly Madhu was keen on Hrithik Roshan whereas Priti wanted Akshay Kumar to be on board. However, now it seems that they have finally agreed on roping in the ‘Kaabil’ actor.

A source revealed, “2017 has been great for Hrithik, so after impressing audiences as well as critics in ‘Kaabil’ early this year as a visually-impaired man, he will start shooting for the Anand Kumar biopic within a few days. It goes without saying that makers are excited about Hrithik coming on-board for the film as he has always been their first choice.”

The film will showcase the life of Patna-based mathematician, Anand Kumar, who trains 30 deserving, economically backward students for the most prestigious exams of IIT each year with commendable success rate. The film will also focus on Anand Kumar’s intriguing back story.

Now won’t it be interesting to see Hrithik play this genius!
