Daisy undergoes a name change to 'Unakenna Venum Sollu Daisy

The idea of naming a title based on a popular song is to carry the good will and the popularity of the said song. 'Unakenna Venum Sollu ' the popular melody of Ajith Kumar starring 'Yennai Arindhaal' is the title of a new movie earlier titled 'Daisy'.

Director of the film Srinath Ramalingam says, “Our film is about paranoid activities. The fulcrum of the script is based on a cute father and daughter relationship. We thought of many titles until we unanimously decided on this one. What better title to portray a father-daughter relationship than this song and hence we decided on Unakenna Venum Sollu Daisy.”

“A father's verbal commitment to an infant daughter in womb, the reason why he cannot keep up his commitment and the subsequent reaction of the infant who loses her life forms the web around the film. We are aiming a release some time during the last week of August and I am sure that the film will be as successful as the song which gave us the title”, concludes the director.
