Dance master Raghuram died

Popular dance choreographer Raghuram passed away on Saturday in Chennai at his residence. He was 64 years. The dance master had a cardiac arrest at about 11.45 am. He had completed 50 years in Tamil cinema and had worked with almost all the veteran actors and actresses. He had acted, directed and choreographed films but was known to the world as a renowned choreographer. His association with Kamal Haasan had produced some of the best dance centric films including Salangai Oli.

Celebrities from Tamil film industry went and paid their homage to the dance master. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Bhagyraj, Shanthanu, director Balachander, Radhika Sarathkumar, Sivakumar, Radha Ravi, KS Ravikumar, Priyadarshan, Lizzy Priyadarshan, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mano Bala, Namitha, Prashanth, Chinni Jeyanth, Editor Mohan and Vivek went to Raghuram’s residence and paid their last respects. The cremation was held on Sunday.

He is survived by wife Girija, daughters - Suja (former Television actress) and Gayathri (dance choreographer and actress).
