Daniel Balaji is no more

Tamil actor Daniel Balaji passed away due to a massive cardiac arrest on Friday night. The actor was 48.

He was hospitalized due to chest pain at a hospital at Kottivakam in Chennai where he died. Started his career as production manager in films, Balaji grabbed the attention with his roles in 'Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu' and 'Vada Chennai'.

Balaji made his acting debut in television with the Tamil daily serial 'Chithi', in which he played the character Daniel. He forayed into movies with the 2002 Tamil romantic drama, 'April Madhathil'. His other films include 'Kaakha Kaakha' and 'Gharshana'. Balaji has acted in Malayalam films such as 'Daddy Cool', 'Black' and 'Bhagavan'.

His body will be laid to rest at his residence in Purasaiwalkam on Saturday. Click the Movie button below for more info:
