Debutant Zion's 'Podhu Nalan Karudhi' begins today

Most of us would have heard the word ‘Podhu Nalan Karudhi’ in news and through public service announcements that are screened in the theatres. Inspired by that word, debutant director Zion has come up with a unique story titled ‘Podhu Nalan Karudhi’. This went on floors today with traditional ‘Pooja’ in Chennai.

After assisting director Ram Bala for the recent ‘Dhilluku Dhuttu’, Zion has stepped into ‘Podhu Nalan Karudhi,’ which narrates the mindset of current youngsters. The film features Kadhai Thiraikadhai Vasanam Iyakkam’ fame Santosh as the male lead. The female lead roles are played by Malayalam Actress Anu Sithaara (Happy wedding) and Leesha (Mascara pottu Mayakuriey song fame). Karunakaran, ‘Thangamagan’ fame Aadith Arun, Yog Japee, Imaan Annachi and others.

“Three youngsters from different social class enter Chennai to achieve something in their life. Did they succeed or not, is the one liner of our film ‘Podhu Nalan Karudhi’.
