Deepika Padukone moved to tears on 'India's Raw Star'

Actress Deepika Padukone, who's usually fun-loving and composed, was moved to tears during an appearance on TV reality show "India's Raw Star" recently.

A performance by one of the contestants in the music-based show, Mr Rituraj, made Deepika emotional. He sang the melodious number "Abhi mujh mein kahin", and Deepika got so engrossed in the performance that tears welled up in her eyes, said a source from the sets.

The actress commented, "The performance will be on my mind for a long time. It has really moved me."

She was on the show to promote her forthcoming film "Finding Fanny" with her co-star Arjun Kapoor.

"India's Raw Star", which features rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh as a mentor, is aired on Star Plus.
