Devi Sri Prasad's father passed away

Renowned writer and Music director Devi Sri Prasad's father, Satyamurthy is now no more. He suffered a heavy cardiac arrest in the early hours of today in Chennai and passed away. His final rites will take place there itself this evening.

Satyamurthy garu's first rose to fame with Devatha and from then there is no looking back. He penned about 100 films and majority of them are classics like Pedarayudu, Abhilasha, Khaidhi No 786, etc. He retired a long ago and is mostly confined to his house in the last few years. May his soul rest in peace!
