Dhanush bags IFFA award

Actor Dhanush’s debut Hindi film has brought him laurels. The film, Raanjhanaa was a critically acclaimed venture directed by L Anand Rai. The film was also a box office success.

Dhanush has received the prestigious IIFA Awards 2014 for Best Debut (Male) actor. The award ceremony was held at Tampa Bay, Florida. Dhanush went to receive the award and expressed his happiness on twitter. He tweeted, "My first iifa :) thanks for all the support and love guys. Without your support would not have been here".

Dhanush is now acting in his second Hindi film, which is being directed by Balki and has Amitabh Bachchan and Akshara Haasan among the star cast.
