Dhanush on Rajinikanth's entry into politics

Dhanush’s Velaiyilla Pattathari sequel titled as VIP2 is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth and produced by Kalaipuli Thanu and Dhanush. The film has Amala Paul, Samuthirakani, Kajol and others. Sean Roldan has scored music.

The film is dubbed in Hindi as Lalkar and the audio was launched yesterday (25th June) in Mumbai in a grand function that witnessed the participation of directors Anand L Rai, Balki and others.

In a press interaction, Dhanush mentioned that Kajol does not play an antagonist in the film but a very important role. When asked about his father-in-law Rajinikanth’s entry into politics, the National Award winner jocularly said, “Do you have an opinion as to why he shouldn't enter politics?
