Dhanush postpones the release of Kaala teaser

Superstar Rajnikanth’s next release would be Kaala directed by Pa Ranjith. The venture is produced by his son-in-law Dhanush for his Wunderbar Films. Dhanush had earlier announced that the teaser of the much awaited film would be released today, the 1st of March at 11 AM.

But due to the sudden Samadhi of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetadhipathy Jayendra Saraswathy yesterday, the 28th February, Dhanush has decided to postpone the release of the teaser as a mark of respect to the departed spiritual leader.

He announced through the social media page, “Due to the demise of respected Jagadguru Poojyashri Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya, as a mark of respect #Kaala teaser will be released on 2nd March. Apologies to all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the teaser”. Kaala features Sukanya, Easwari Rao, Huma Qureshi, Sampath and others. Santhosh Narayanan scores music.
