Dhanush's Kodi also to release for Diwali

Dhanush is a busy actor with various projects simultaneously going on. He announced about the release date of his upcoming film Kodi directed by Durai Senthilkumar. Looks like the film will be a Diwali release.

Dhanush in his Twitter handle mentioned, “Following the release of #thodari in September #kodi my first duel role film will be releasing for this #diwali". Kodi has Dhanush playing two roles for the first time with Trisha essaying a negative character also for the first time in her career.

With this announcement, Kodi joins the list of other Tamil films such as Karthi’s Kashmora and Suriya’s Singam 3. Kodi has Venkatesh’s camera work, Santhosh Narayanan’s music and Praveen KL’s editing. The film is produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films and also has Anupama Parameswaran of Premam fame.
