Dia Mirza portrays Maanayata in 'Sanju'

Actress Dia Mirza is portraying Maanayata -- actor Sanjay Dutt’s wife, in Sanjay Dutt’s biopic “Sanju,” directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

“And here comes Dia Mirza as Maanayata, someone whose stood by #Sanju through thick and thin,” Rajkumar Hirani tweeted on Thursday. Ranbir Kapoor plays Sanjay Dutt in the movie. Written by Rajkumar Hirani, the film will also star Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal and Manisha Koirala among others.

It's produced by Vinod Chopra Films and Rajkumar Hirani Films in association with Fox Star Studios. The film will be released on June 29.
