Sanjay Dutt was extremely excited about his comeback film ‘Bhoomi’, which was directed by National Award winning director Omung Kumar. In fact, Dutt was so happy with his collaboration with the director that he had agreed to be a part of his next film as well.

However, the much hyped ‘Bhoomi’ failed to make a mark at the box office and impress the audience, and now it is learnt that Dutt has opted out of Kumar’s next film, which was tentatively titled – 'The Good Maharaja.'

The film was supposedly based on the real-life story of a noble king, who saved the lives of several Polish refugees during the World War II by giving them shelter in one of his palaces. His noble deed also earned him a street named after him in Poland called the Good Maharaja Square.

A few reports claim that after the disappointing response for ‘Bhoomi’, Dutt didn’t want to do another film with Omung Kumar. Furthermore, sources close to Dutt has said that the actor now wants to focus on his existing projects which includes – ‘Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3’, a Hindi remake of the Malayalam film ‘Prasthanam.’
