Dr Biju's 'Sound of Silence' shoot completed

The shooting of National award winner Dr Biju’s ‘Sound of Silence’ is complete. Dr Biju’s son Govardhan plays the lead role in the movie. This is Govardhan’s debut film as hero.


Pahari, the local language used in Himachal Pradesh, Tibetan, and Hindi languages are used in ‘Sound of Silence’. This is for the first time Dr Biju directs a movie in a language other than Malayalam.


The movie set in the backdrop of Buddhism has the central character as a dumb person. ‘Sound of Silence’ is a meditative story, centered on a boy's evolution into a Buddhist monk.


The film shot in Himachal Pradesh also features theatre artistes and Buddhist monks from Tibet. M J Radhakrishnan wields camera for the film. ‘Sound of Silence’ is produced by Dr A K Pillai under the banner of Maya Movies.
