Editor Vivek Harshan replaced by Ruban in Velaikkaran

Velaikkaran, the upcoming film that is being directed by Mohan Raja features Sivakarthikeyan, Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Sneha, RJ Balaji and others. The film had its editor in the form of National Award Winning Vivek Harshan.

But now, it looks like he has been replaced by the new editing sensation Ruban who had recently worked in Mersal and Vivegam. Reports also suggest that the team is off to Ajmer, Rajasthan, to shoot a song that features Sivakarthikeyan and Nayanthara. Dance master Brindha is said to be choreographing this song, composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

Earlier the film was scheduled to release for the Dussehra but later postponed to 22nd December. It is also reported that major portions have been completed and the film will be censored by the end of November, to ensure that it gets a theatrical release on December 22 as planned. 24 AM Studios is producing this film which is said to have a social message.
