A simple tale of an Indian housewife who resolves to learn English to find acceptance in society, "English Vinglish" has found resonance in different parts of the world.

Recently, "English Vinglish" saw stupendous success in Japan, where the film garnered box office collections of a whopping $1.4 million-plus.
