Jennifer Lee to co-direct animated 'Frozen'

Los Angeles, Nov 30 (IANS) Jennifer Lee will co-direct Walt Disney Animation Studios' 53rd full-length movie "Frozen", along with director Chris Buck.


Buck is known for directing movies like "Tarzan" and "Surf's Up" and Lee, who is also the scriptwriter for this film, has been appreciated for her work in animated movie "Wreck-It Ralph".


"Jenn has a real connection to the film and creates dynamic and relatable characters. Her sense of comedy, adventure and story structure paired with Chris Buck's vast experience and incredible instincts create an ideal situation for this film," Peter Del Vecho, producer of "Frozen", said in a statement.


The movie will feature voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, who will also sing the songs in the movie.


"Frozen" is said to be loosely based on fairytale "The Snow Queen". It is expected to hit theatres Nov 27, 2013. Click the Movie button below for more info:
