Witherspoon to produce 'The Engagements'

London, March 22 (IANS) Hollywood actress and producer Reese Witherspoon is planning to produce the romantic drama "The Engagements", based on a forthcoming book by J. Courtney Sullivan. The 36-year-old actress may also star in the project.

She is in talks with movie studio Fox 2000 to produce the film, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

The novel, which is due for release in June, is based on love stories that inter-connect five couples.

The "This Means War" actress is also set to produce "Gone Girl", a movie adaptation of Gillian Flynn's eponymous bestselling novel.
