Facebook gave me a lot of confusion, says Vijay Sethupathi

Vijay Sethupathi is basking in the success and good words for his latest film Sethupathi directed by Arunkumar of Pannaiyaarum Padminiyum fame. The film is a realistic take of a cop’s life which has been liked by the audiences and critics alike. The films features Remya Nambeesan as Vijay Sethupathi’s wife.

In a recent interaction, Sethupathi revealed that he is off social media because it confuses him a lot. He says, “I don’t have an account in Twitter but I did have an account in Facebook. I was active in it for a while, responding to comments, and thanking fans for their appreciation. But I found that the Facebook feed was numbing my emotions. I’d see an extraordinarily tragic news item, and even before I could react to it, see a hilarious meme right below it. This was confusing me. I wasn’t sure if I should cry or laugh. I decided to delete my account because this contradiction was affecting me as a human”.
