Fahad, Anjana Jayaprakash in Akhil Sathyan's debut film

Close on the heels of director Anoop Sathyan making his directorial debut in ‘Varane Avashyamundu’, his twin brother Akhil Sathyan is also following the suit. Akhil and Anoop are the twin sons of veteran filmmaker Sathyan Anthikad.

Akhil is making his debut as a director with Fahadh Faasil in the lead. The shooting for this yet-to-be-titled film has begun already. The film has Anjana Jayaprakash of ‘Queen’ (Web series) fame as the female lead. Actor Vineeth and renowned writer Viji Venkatesh are also playing key roles.

Justin Prabhakar is the music director. The film will be shot in different locations of Goa, Mumbai and Kerala. Fahad’s upcoming film ‘Trance’ is gearing up for release soon.

Meanwhile, Anoop’s film ‘Varane Avashyamundu’ is set to hit the screens on February 7.
