Fashion face off: Who wore it better?

Bollywood divas are known to put an extra effort every time they step out to ensure that they make heads turn with their flawless style statements. However, there are quite a few instances when they end up almost twinning with their contemporaries or wearing similar outfits that another celebrity has already worn.

We bring to you some of the recent same-dress scenarios, do let us know who you think styled it the best.

The pleated skirts have made a comeback in a big way and we have spotted quite a few Bollywood fashionistas sporting this chic garment.

Recently, the xXx: Return of Xander Cage star — Deepika Padukone chose to wear a metallic blue pleated accord skirt with a body suit for one of her promotional events. It so happened that the Tutak Tutak Tutiya actress — Tamannaah Bhatia too chose a similar shade and style of skirt but she paired it with a madison on peddar sweatshirt.

We think both did well. What do you think?

Gucci is one brand adored by most of our B-town divas, hence it’s no surprise to often see them sporting similar outfits from their favoured label.

This time around it was Kalki Koechlin and the Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress — Alia Bhatt, who were spotted wearing the same Victorian velvet dress from this luxury brand.

While Kalki chose this dress for the India premiere of xXx: Return of Xander Cage, Alia had worn the exact same outfit a few months ago.

Both the ladies carried off the dress with panache and did complete justice to it. Don’t you think so?

Manish Malhotra undoubtedly is a favourite amongst B-town beauties, who are often seen wearing his designs.

Recently we saw Alia and Sridevi rock one of his gold blazers with élan. While Sri opted for the full pantsuit sophisticated look, Alia chose to give the blazer a sexy twist by wearing it as a dress.

Needless to say, both the divas looked fab.

Naked dresses have found an irreplaceable place in the heart of Bollywood babes with almost each one of them wanting to sport one at any given occasion.

Recently, Bollywood’s BFF — Jacqueline Fernandez and Sonam Kapoor turned up for Stardust awards function looking almost like sisters, wearing uncannily similar naked gowns.

Both chose an outfit from designer Yulia Yanina’s collection with exactly the same fabric, same shade and an identical pattern too. While Sonam and Jacqueline both hit all the right notes with their lovely ensemble, personally we liked Sonam’s flowy silhouette more.

The Jai Ho actress — Daisy Shah recently picked a crimson pantsuit with asymmetric side train from Label D to grace the Stardust Awards functions.

Incidentally, the Grand Masti girl — Karishma Tanna too opted for a similar cut suit in gold from the same label for her appearance on the reality show BIG Memsaab.

While both are looking stunning, we would say, we liked Tanna’s shimmering gold ensemble a tad more.
