Filmmaker Vinayan back on horror track

After a hiatus, director Vinayan is going to make a horror film and the shooting for the film will commence in April. Titled ‘Akasha Ganga 2’, the film is a sequel to the 1999 horror film ‘Akasha Ganga’, starring Riyaz and Divya Unni in lead roles.

Vinayan announced the new project on his Facebook page. He will start his film with Mohanlal after this film. Meanwhile, his other two films, ‘Nangeli’ and one with Jayasurya, are under preproduction stages.

‘Akasha Ganga 2’ will have a new heroine. A casting call for a newcomer also has been made by the director through his FB post.
