Flood relief activities by Nadigar Sangam

Relief activities for the people who have lost their home and belongings in the recent floods are happening in full swing in Chennai and Cuddalore. While Siddharth and RJ Balaji are going on in full throttle on their work, there are helping hands from all quarters.

The newly elected Nadigar Sangam is working round the clock to help the people affected by floods. While talking about the activities, Karthi said, “We are working for the 4th day in Lady Aandal school from where all the relief materials are being sent to various parts. The materials that we received from Kerala are being distributed by actors and NGO units to different parts in Chennai.”

“As the water is getting drained, the needs of the people are also changing and we are working accordingly. Now we are providing people with rice, tamarind, salt, chilies and other important ingredients to carry on with their lives. We are also educating people about communicable diseases as this is the time many diseases will be on the rise. Police personnel and IT people are helping is in big manner now”.
