‘Forrest Gump' remake titled ‘Laal Singh Chaddha'

The Hindi remake of Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’ has been titled ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Starred by Aamir Khan, the movie is set to release on Christmas in 2020. The film will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan in a key role.

Released in 1994, the Hollywood film is starred by Tom Hanks. Hanks plays the role of a slow-witted guy, who falls in love with his childhood best friend and ends up marrying her.

Hanks's character in the film witnesses several defining historical events in the 20th century United States. He is also a long-distance runner in the film.

The music of ‘Lal Singh Chaddha’ is composed by Pritam and the lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film is produced by Viacom18 Studios and Aamir Khan Productions.
