Gautham Karthik clarifies about his take on Rajinikanth's political entry

Rajinikanth’s political entry is the hot topic in town with theories for and against the matter. In this scenario, it was said that Gautham Karthik, the emerging actor had made some comments against the Superstar. Sadly so, the actor is busy promoting his film Ivan Thanthiran in south Tamil Nadu and had clarified the issue through a video which states the following:

''I'm in Trichy for Ivan Thanthiran promotions and there is a small controversy going on, based on something that I said recently. It is a complete misunderstanding. The question raised to me was if I would support Rajini sir if he enters politics. My answer to that was, I don't know anything about politics, and to me, Rajini sir is a superstar and I will see him as a superstar only. That is all I said, but it went out of context and people have written something wrong.

So please don't bring me into politics, I have no relation to politics whatsoever, I am here to make films and I love to watch films and I love watching the superstar in films, this is it.''
